Do you have a favourite hymn or musical item which we have not sung for a while or perhaps there is an anniversary you would like to mark? If so please let us know at least 2 months before the due date as we plan well in advance!
The singing during Holy Week was splendid and much appreciated especially the Crucifixion on Good Friday and the Easter Day celebration.
We remember this month Ralph Vaughan Williams who lived in Dorking and did so much to encourage amateur music making, He died 50 years ago. He was born in Down Ampney and his tune for “Come down, O love divine” is rightly famous.
