Christmas Day to Holy Innocents

Up at 8 am 20 minute drive to Caterham.Anne-Marie Garton celebrated and preached on gifts. I took my organ card. Played Gant Paean, Sumsion Cradle song and Noel Suisse. Packed car and drove to Acton. Prosecco! Boys busy doing amazing lego. Spoke to Dennis in Dublin.Tom excelled himself turkey, ham, pigs in blankets, all delicious. Presents and I now own a Kindle! Sleep and pudding. The Queen as wonderful as ever and featuring a young choir. Slept soundly through Strictly come dancing Christmas special! Lots of TV catching up to do. Sadly missed call from Bruce Woodhouse  Delicious late breakfast. Liz to Brook Green for servers Mass. Walk to Acton Park. Spoke to Bruce, Dennis, Henry and Ann-Marie on phone.Call the midwife excellent.Traditional carol singing and the boys joined in a bit. Lou and Tom off to Amersham. Happiness is Come dine with me on TV, Quality Street, mince pies and being indoors. Catching up on BBC iPlayer Midnight from Leeds, Mel Sue and Mary in Wales, Christmas morning All Saints Fulham all excellent. Amazing BBC4 programme with cameras on turtle, eagle and cheetah. Watching Christmas lectures about sound. We are home after a delightful Christmas with the family. Opened Bruce's pack from Jersey to find delicious goodies, a calendar and a lovely hand painted glass bauble for our tree. Thank you Bruce Woodhouse. Catenian Provincial executive group meeting cancelled because of illness - suits me do not have to drive to Swanley after all! Next March I finish as provincial councillor and on Norwood council as well after 10 years.Catching up on recordings Sarah Teather excellent meditation and Christmas morning from Bath Abbey some of which I heard in the car.
