Sunday long lie-in awake in the night. Up for 1! Bridget brought scones and card from Walsingham which was very kind. Caterham sound intermittent. Come dine with me. Blackfriars homily. Enjoyed this morning's radio 4 broadcast service. Ewell and Upper Norwood organ only. My inner left thigh is better - I think I pulled a muscle but the Do Terra embrocation worked. Excellent radio 4 Sunday worship with Angela Tilby and Stephen Shipley and lovely music. Paul Carr in the Midlands and Ashley Grote at Norwich cathedral organ a delight! Read The Tablet. New Year bake off won by Rahul, A perfect planet with David Attenborough. 

Monday another lie-in. Wierd dream about London zoo entrance. St Martin's, Blackfriars. Mgr Mark Langham in hospice with cancer - very sad news. Four in a bed and Come dine with me. John Thing rang - he spent Christmas day alone. Bridgerton more naked bottoms and implausible stories! Watched Sylvester konzert for New Year from St Thomas Leipzig including Guilmant, Gigout and Bach. Only connect and University challenge. Dine for the planet on carbon footprint of food. Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
