St Paul

 Problems with sound at Blackfriars. Conversion of St Paul and end of week of prayer for Christian Unity. St Martin's, Upper Norwood. Lots of cleaning. Louise ordered freezer meals and Dennis collected them. Historic organ recordings Darke, Marchant, Thalben-Ball from Cornhill. Zoom with Colette and lots happening this year CAFOD. Started on St Paul's cathedral assembly - seems appropriate. Father Brown. Liz finally got home at 8 after a long wait. The retreat came to an end with Bishop Egan. Only connect and University challenge.

Blackfriars, part of St Martin's, excellent talk by Jonathan Gorsky at Sion centre on Mother Maria Skobstova. District nurse did not come seems they discharged Liz when I rang last week to say she was in hospital! Liz spent the day in bed - we were both grumpy. I did a survey of food in the fridge and chucked some items. Faiths together in Croydon steering group heard about vaccinations, training and the census on March 21. Watched Martin Clunes on islands of Australia including Tasmania and Father Brown.

Wednesday Woke at 9.30 St John's, washing and bed done. Croydon Holocaust memorial video excellent. A bit of zoom on Fair energy and meditation. Excellent Lymphoma group discussion. OT rang and district nurses came. Listed freezer contents and worked out menu for a week. Louise rang. Short LSI planning meeting. Blackfriars. Tony Robinson on the Thames. A perfect planet. Year at Kew.

Vigil

 Saturday a memorable day. SM walk in Muswell Hill. To Parliament and met up with Kate, Lyn and Graham. So many people and buggies! The tourist trade has clearly revived. Glad I took my chair and the 2 hours went quickly. Ecological Stations and Rosary and Laudate Deum meditation. William Rhind and animators came. Sean and Ciaran came and Louise and Tom went to a party in Coulsdon. We went to Mass and I spoke to the lady from CAFOD. Petition nearly at 1000! Sunday Lent 1 Played Demessieux on Attende domine which Linda and I sang. Prelude and fughetta Franck. A mosy enjoyable family lunch at Westow House. Lamb and lemon posset. Had a sleep! Evensong Howells Like as the hart. Wierd hymn Christian dost thou see them to St Andrew of Crete by Dykes. Throwdown was good. Ben Fogle in the Congo. Antiques roadshow.
