I do wish we still sang "Hail thee festival day" to Vaughan Williams' tune but as we start with the candle and a hymn version of Exultet to Woodlands and then to the Gloria that's it! We sang "This joyful Eastertide" and "Christians shout for joy and gladness" by Bach at communion - just the right length said Vickie. I played Herbert Howells Saraband for the morning of Easter. Nice to chat to Barry Stronge at sherry and coffee. Brought Bach scores and more organ music home.
