Psalm 130

Out of the deep I cry to thee O Lord was the psalm today. We sang it to the Purcell and Rimbault chants unaccompanied. It fits so well with the Gospel reading about the raising of Lazarus. It is the psalm said by all Catenians at every meeting when we remember by name the brothers who have died. What other organisation do you know that is still praying for people who died in the 1920s?
We sang "God so loved the world" by Stainer.
